Making Summer Memories and Overcoming Real Estate Hurdles: A Personal Update

As summer reaches its peak, I find myself cherishing every sun-soaked moment with my family. RV camping has become our favorite way to hit pause on the usual hustle, trading busy schedules for quiet mornings, campfire dinners, and the simple joy of watching our kids discover the world around them. With deployments on the horizon—my husband will be away for much of this year and next—these moments feel even more significant. Every night spent under the stars and every marshmallow roasted is a memory we’re holding close.

Life as a military family is full of changes, and I know many of you can relate. Whether it’s finding new ways to connect or making the most of the time we have together, these experiences remind me why home—wherever it may be—matters so much.

Recently, I had the privilege of helping a wonderful couple navigate two big hurdles: a cross-state move on a tight timeline and a tricky solar agreement that threatened to complicate their home sale. The solar contract had an escalation clause that could have scared off buyers, but together, we rolled up our sleeves and got creative. After lots of negotiation with the solar company, we secured a lump-sum payoff, turning what felt like an unsellable property into a fresh start for both the sellers and the new owners.

Stories like these remind me that real estate is about so much more than transactions—it’s about people, problem-solving, and helping families step confidently into their next chapter. If you or someone you know is facing a complicated move or an unexpected hurdle, please reach out. I’m always here to help.

Wishing you all a joyful, memory-filled summer!
